If I could give more stars I would! After being told elsewhere that my car aircon was completely broken, that the whole thing needed replacing and it would cost me $4500 to fix I sought a 2nd opinion with Auto Elect. So glad I did. Whilst the aircon did need parts replacing it was not completely broken like I had been advised and the fix was way cheaper than the original quote. The whole team is amazing and I am so happy to have icy cold aircon in my car. 100% recommend this company.
brought my car here because windows were not opening. They only fixed 2 windows for 250,- without consulting me that they could not fix them all four, which is what we came for. To fix the two other windows I was being told, they could fix it with manual door handles for 450,-, or automatic for 800,-. Sounds like a scam to me..
Our plug on our car that connects power to our airbags on our van had failed. All other auto electrical companies were too busy to look at it. Auto Elect not only took our job as soon as we came in they also did not charge for the replacement of a fuse and gave us a spare one for us to keep for the future. Absolutely fantastic service and with a smile. Thank you to the front desk and sparkles.
We are on our way to Cape York and have to meet our team in Cairns by 1st of September when our alternator played up on August 30. We rang around who can help but everyone is booked out for two weeks. As it is a weekend we lost our hope of getting our car fixed quickly so we can join the rest of the group. We rang them on a Saturday and Nat suggested we come by early Monday morning and see if the guys can help. AutoElec is just off Mulgrave Rd, turn left onto Draper its right there, good signage. Photo on google street level is outdated they have felly moved in to the new premise these days. Very professional shed, large team of auto sparkys, its a big set up. Calls are answered quickly and there is a very friendly lady in the reception. Run by locals.
