I came in with a completely dead multimedia system after a flat battery: everything was stuck in Japanese, the reverse camera wasn’t working, and there was no sound or radio. The team at AutoEase were outstanding. The young technician had a quick look at the screen and, within a couple of minutes, everything was up and running again — camera, audio, radio, menus. No fuss, just real competence and solid know-how. Very impressed with the speed and quality of the work. Highly recommended — they clearly know what they’re doing.
Edit 6 December 2025, Matt is an amazing mechanic and overall great human. Matt was what made Autoease. As Matt moves on from Autoease so do I. Matt made it truly special. Old post continues Great team, very friendly and deliver exceptional value. I love the way Matt explains things simply and genuinely cares about the work he and the team do. I will definitely do repeat business.
I will never ever recommend this shop m.the technician is so rude. I took my car here for a wof everything is good just change the tyre I bring back the next day.but he refused not to look at it and finished my papers he told me ”its not an 1minute job mate”. I begging to finish it because we have to go to Nelson in weekend I really asked him I almost bend my knee for him but he still refused.so I dont have a choice we still go.we squeeze ourselves in a little car with my five big family so frustrating we just trying to be h... read more
They were clearly trying to rip me off just to pass the WOF — failed my inspection for “worn-out” brake pads that still had over 80% life left. Another garage passed my WOF with no issues at all. It really feels like they fail people just to make extra money. Not recommended.
