Dave is a legend, best mechanic on the Gold Coast
Update - their response is obviously trying to suggest that we did not come here, this is not true this was a very real and awful experience and hopefully the detail will keep other tourists away. Had a pretty shocking experience here, which is a shame as they seemed so friendly. I went in for a quote and they wanted $260 dollars to replace a window switch, and $700 to replace the sliding door lock mechanism on my 2012 van. I’ve been going to see Dave and the guys for a few years now. As a single woman whose knowledge only goes so far I appreciate when a mechanic doesn’t take that as an opportunity to make a bit more cash, and takes the time to explain everything in detail. Dave has so much patience too. If I call for a service he’ll tell me which service it is and how much to expect it to cost. If I go in with an issue he’ll explain exactly what’s wrong.
