I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service I received from the Autobarn Port Stephens store. I placed an online order for next-day pickup at this location, however due to unforeseen circumstances I had to travel approximately 250km away before I could collect it. The following day, I contacted the store to request a simple and reasonable solution — either transferring the item to a store closer to my new location or updating the system to allow collection elsewhere. Big shout out to Bob at the Taylor’s Beach store — excellent service, very professional, and genuinely helpful. He made shopping a pleasure and completely effortless. Great work. Unfortunately, my experience at the Heatherbrae store was the opposite. The staff member assisting me couldn’t tell me whether the item I was after was stocked. I don’t expect staff to know everything, but it became frustrating when finding out felt like a hassle.
