Tried to price match a boost gauge today with a friendly staff member at Autoparts Guys in QLD (physical store). Things were looking good until her asian colleague interjected and declined the offer. Bit surprised, since stores like SCA usually have no issue with price matching—plus I had already asked about it earlier while browsing.
