No wonder it's closing permanently. The owner I think struggled to get decent staff. It was a dingy store and the busy carpark didn't help. I think it has potential but in today's way of buying online from Sparesbox, eBay, Amazon and the competition that we know as bricks and mortar, you have to be next level like Repco at Slacks Creek or the Autobarn store up the road from it to make it great for people to actually travel in. A good example of this franchise. The store was well organised and they had a good deal of stock on hand. The staff were very patient and friendly.
Refused to warranty a battery, clearly stickered with autobarn label and purchase date. Good luck keeping a receipt for 3+ years. Poor service
Update 02/03/26 5/5 Jake yet again helped me out, this time with a nasty threaded bolt, offered altertative product and great advice, highly recommend his expertise! Needed new wiper blades, Jake came out in the rain, removed the assembly, fitted new blade rubber and then fitted it all back on the car on his own accord. Even shown me how to do it all. Top service, highly recommend!
