We recently went in for a battery replacement and purchased the battery directly from them. Before proceeding, we confirmed the installation cost — we were told it would be $20, not just once, but on three separate occasions. However, once the work was completed, we were suddenly charged $50. This felt quite misleading and dishonest, especially after having confirmed the price multiple times beforehand. Bought a car battery online today. Called the store to ask if I needed to make an appointment to have it fitted. The young bloke I spoke to said no we can fit it for you outside when you pick it up. On the way to the store my car stopped due to my old battery running out of charge 50 meters from the store. It was 20 minutes before they closed when I got there .
