We needed our wiper blades replaced on our 2020 Mercedes GLE. Virgil while on his lunch break, was kind enough to help us out in the pouring rain. Appreciating you all, and we will make sure to come there for all service visits.
I’ve been bringing my various cars to the team at Auto Sumser for years. Like so many others here, I’ve always found them to be patient, honest and fair. They also know their stuff and have the necessary diagnostic equipment, which is not always the case with European cars. They tell me what really needs to be done and what is optional. But the ultimate test is that they’ve kept my 19, 18 and 10 year old cars running smoothly and reliably.
Simply the best. They take care of all our cars, which over the years have included Audi, Mini and BMW, Toyota and Lexus, Dodge, Buick, and I'm probably forgetting a few. Jim and Virgil are about 3 miles from our house but they are worth skipping the other service stations that would be closer for us.
I had a check engine light on my van, so I brought it to Sumser for inspection. They quoted me nearly $7,000 for a sensor repair. I opted not to proceed with their services due to the high cost. Despite this, I was still charged over $200 for diagnostics. Instead, I took my van to a mechanic in Closter who fixed it for $950. While I can't provide a review of Sumser's services, I advise others to exercise caution and seek alternative quotes before committing to repairs at their facility.
