Took my Corvette there recently with a fuel gauge problem. Got it back with the same problem and a thousand dollars less in my bank account.
Average Shop – My reccomendation is to always get a second look at your vehicle before any work is done. Not all repair shops are the same and many have differenct ways to bill
Shop Around First! – We took our vehicle in to fix our air conditioner during a very hot week here in Oregon. We called first and we asked about costs etc. We were told the 'worst case scenario' was about $1000. ( If the compressor was shot etc. ) We left off our truck and before we were barely through the door at home we were called and told that it would be the worst case scenario. ( OK, fine...
