My husband & I were stranded at the Atlanta airport following the snow & ice storm that struck the Southeast on 1/14/2025. The problem was that the Savannah Airport was closed for days since it has no equipment to remove snow & ice. We needed to get home in SC & we always fly through Savannah as it is our closest airport.
