I took my 2022 Acura MDX Type S in to get the intake valves cleaned via walnut blasting. Although Acura doesn't require this in their maintenance schedule, the vehicle has a GDI engine, so at 60k miles it definitely needed it. These guys were top notch and beat a couple of other quotes I got from around the area. They were a bit difficult to get ahold of, but once I did, I got an appointment booked without issue. This shop is great. My husband just took my car there . Car was making a loud skipping noise on acceleration. Mercedes dealer quoted it $3700 and said the transfer case needs replacement , we went to another mechanic and quoted $1900 and said a „new” used transfer case he could put in. Mac - I think the owner of the shop said all we need to do is replace the chain which is about $100 part . He says these chains just stretch over time. All in all we paid $680 .
