This place sold the American people out! They no longer sell parts but only crush cars!! They get incentives from the government to only crush cars. The government wants us to only by new cars. So if they destroy the used car market it will force us into new vehicles that the government can shut off at will! Dont sell your cars to junk yards that only scrap vehicles sell them only if they will be parting your car out.
I had dealings with Auto parts City. I am besides myself with the negative reviews about Auto Parts City. People used to leave negative reviews only for valid problems and not because they do not know how to use a phone or read or understand what’s been told to them. I have been pulling out of junkyards since the 80’s and if I didn’t want to pull the part myself off the vehicle then I called the yard and they pulled it off for me and they called me when it was ready. No longer a parts yard!!! Just a scrap metal reycler now. Here are other junk yards in the northern Illinois/eastern wisconsin area -Route 14 auto parts in woodstock -Route 12 in spring grove -Sturvant auto salvage are all three places that are let you pull you're part yards. Sad to see auto parts city go but they gotta move forward.
