Absolutely a horrible insurance company, at least for home owners insurance. We recently had to replace a roof after all the storms and they covered next to nothing due to the age of the roof. I can understand the roof issue, I disagree with it but I can understand the age issue on the roof. It's the interior water damage to the dining room I can't understand, again they covered less than half of what it cost, and that's after I got 2 separate estimates from reputable contractors. Having to file a claim for a fallen tree limb, that took down some wires and also did some damage to my electric box on the house, the turnaround response was absolutely perfect! Thank you, Matthew Drummer for your help as well as expediting the process. I’m glad to be a member of Auto Owner’s.
My wife has left a similar review. After multiple attempts to reach out to the insureds representative and Supervisor, all to no avail, my total loss car remains in my driveway in excess of two months.
We have had an extremely disappointing experience with auto owners insurance regarding a third-party auto claim. Their insured struck our vehicle, and the vehicle was declared a total loss over 45 days ago. Since then, we have made repeated attempts to contact the assigned claims representative and supervisor with little to no response. Multiple voicemails have gone unanswered, communication has been severely lacking, and our claim remains unresolved despite being told the vehicle was totaled weeks ago. ****DONT DO IT! We bought a house with flood insurance through Auto Owners. Fast forward after us being a customer for years our flood insurance doubled. So like anyone would do we looked around and found a cheaper rate. We got another policy and tried to cancel. Since it was a FEMA policy and it was in middle of the term we were told we couldn't.
