We've brought our cars here for years. Always so helpful and honest: one time, we thought we needed a costly repair, but it turned out to be very minor and quickly fixed. They could have changed us hundreds more and we wouldn't have known. That trust means everything to us.
I've been a customer at Auto Mechanic of Sylmar since 2000. Long enough for owner J.R. to call me family. That aside, it's been 26 years of excellent service. I moved out of the Sylmar area, but I still bring my cars to J.R. for everything from oil changes to major repairs. You won't find a better shop on the block.
We were stranded on highway coming from San Francisco. Car was shaking badly. Junior looked at the car diagnosed it in 5 minutes and we were out in 30 minutes. Good prices and honest
