I had the worst car service here a few days ago. It was a standard service where they checked the air filter, but I didn't replace it despite their recommendation. The problem is that a loud noise started coming from the car when it's fully braked, like when waiting at a signal. I found out that the air filter intake tube wasn't properly attached—one of the clamps wasn't tightened, and the plastic bracket holding the tube was broken, which looks fresh. I tried to support a local business and got absolutely scammed. I brought the car in for a regular service and brake pad change - the change warning having come on a day earlier for the front brakes only. The car had been driving absolutely fine and without issue. I was then told the brakes all need replacing, the suspension needs replacing, new tyres, a bunch of other trivial things and told it was going to be $4k. Useless, wouldn’t even recommend to somebody I dislike. Went there to have my oil pan repaired. While they were at it they tried to convince me that my timing chain needed replacing and the labour would cost so much that I should get the entire engine block replaced??? One star is too generous.
I recently had my Ford Territory serviced at Auto Masters Morley, and as always, the crew went above and beyond. Even though my Territory is an older vehicle, thanks to the Morley team it still runs smoothly and pushes on strong. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years (yes, I’m definitely ancient 😅) and have had plenty of cars serviced by these guys.
