As a female, I trusted them to give me a fair price. I got ripped off. Don't trust them. It would be good if they responded to negative reviews not just the couple of good reviews, don't you think.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. Auto Masters' slogan is "Switch and Save" — not even close. I've had my car serviced here twice now, and both times I was quoted over $1,000. At the December service, they recommended work that supposedly needed to be redone again just six months later in June. Oddly, my windscreen wipers which needed to be replaced but weren’t, weren’t even mentioned the second time around — must have magically fixed themselves. I was really happy with the service (especially the customer service) that I received at Melville Auto Masters. They fitted me in quickly and were really helpful and easy to deal with. I’ll definitely use them again.
AVOID. Shocking service. Tried charging $4000 for repairs. Charged $1400 for a part that costs no more than $100 online. No other alternative was offered at the time of the quote. Also informed if cheaper parts were used, no warranty would be given on the fix and a 30% charge just for returning. The garage also needed to have the car for 2 weeks and a hire car was had be to used, when the car didn’t need to be in that long. Don’t use this garage. No stars!
Great service. Friendly staff member gave me good advice and helped with my car’s light replacement.
