Very expensive. I booked a roadworthy, the guy arrived in a ute with no company logo and told me he needed payment first because it's a government form. I paid $130. After I paid, he told me if anything needed fixing, he would give me 50% off the cost of a second roadworthy. Many roadworthy companies require proof that the issue was fixed (receipt, photos) but don't charge a second fee to sign it off - always check this with the company before booking). Lesson learnt. The worst experience ever. The mechanic came to my place and, instead of explaining the entire process before requesting an upfront payment, the first thing he asked for was payment. My partner paid, and after the inspection was completed, we were charged an unreasonable price for the gas strut. We were also told we would have to pay an additional fee if they needed to come back later to recheck the car. This company is a scam.
