Don't throw your hard earned money away! AIA is probably the most expensive auto insurance company I have ever seen. I have an excellent driving record and good credit. No accidents, tickets, DUI's, on a driving record that started in 1963! Their TV ads boast of as low as $31 a month. I am NO dummy, I know that is a LEADER quote and practically no one would qualify for it. All I wanted was PL&PD with a minimum of medical and uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage. Short on money... No way to pay. – I was short on money one month while out of work over the summer, and they offer an option to pay at least $128 to extend your due date until however long it extends it. When you do this, (even if you had paid a regular month's rent in between like I did) your account is marred with a stigma called "drive less, pay less" and you are not allowed to pay online for no good reason, even though this is the way you have been paying for the YEAR AND A HALF you have been with the company. WIll drop you for car pooling – I informed them I was in a car pooling system with other UNLV student around the valley and they canceled me. During a time when the "green movement" is in full effect! They are the worst company I have ever dealt with. DO NOT purchase a policy with this group. They will only cause stress
Ugh, Stay away! – Worst insurance experience of my life... I do NOT recomend this company to anyone no matter how desperate you are, unless you're prepared to pay the $250.00 fine to the DMV every three months or so. They do not have the capability to auto-debit the payment and are NOT prompt on the courtsey call they pride themselves on. The customer service is non-existent, not friendly, and NOT professional, the whole staff changes every couple of months...
