Absolutely would 100% recommend Neil and the guys, took my Golf R in with a nasty gearbox whining. Neil let me drop the car off a couple of days before it was due in, due to work etc. They didn’t not promise a quick fix, but wanted to check the car properly to diagnose the correct fault, which they did. They stripped the gearbox, replaced failed components and fully checked it, build it back up, serviced the transfer case and refitted everything. Top job and very good price, for the amount of work they did.
In 2010 I had a gearbox issue with my Audi A6 multitronic gearbox. My local VW Audi in Germany didn't really understand the problem but wanted to replace the Clutch at the cost of €3000. After speaking to Neil at Auto Gearbox repair and service I brought the car back to the UK. It wasn't the clutch, Neil replaced the electronics unit which cured the problem at 1/3 the cost compared to Germany, ever since I always go here for my Audi gearbox service oil change.
Took my Range Rover in made me feel relaxed Repaired my auto gearbox car running smoothly and back to its running self they do exactly what it says on the tin thanks guys highly recommended mac.
Proper old school specialists. Neil was really helpful and offered some good advice on a potential problem with my gearbox. Will be visiting next month for him to load new software.
