Remote Start Malfunction The remote start that was installed by auto extras malfunctioned and engaged while the car was running. This resulted in a nearly catastrophic electrical fire. The owner is unwilling to take responsibility.The remote start unit was sent back to the company and was tested, it tested good. The problem was determined to be in the installation.
