I recently visited Auto Electrical Supplies expecting to buy a new car battery. Whilst I was explaining to the assistant what had happened to make me think I needed a new battery, his colleague, over-hearing the conversation, appeared with a battery tester and proceeded to test my car battery. He then informed me that my battery was good but just needed a good charge. He then explained the way a battery fitted to a car with 'stop/start' operates and that an external charge occasionally was a good idea. The result was I did n... read more
