This guy is a cowboy, I wanted to get some rusts cut out from the sill and weld in some new metal and respray, he said no it don’t need welding, all it needs is some metal filler, I’ve consulted 4 more bodyshops and they all said it has to be cut out for new metal as it’s rusting from inside out, his quote costed more than those who includes welding!! Probably have no idea how to weld and still want to make a fortune for some bodge work!
I took my car to this guy with a small dent on the bumper. He was rather rude and told me that the whole thing had to be inspected and the bar inside was bent and had to be replaced. The bar looked perfectly straight and unaffected. I went across town to another fellow who put his bare hand in behind it and just pushed the dent back out. I guess I could have thought of that myself but Auto Bodycare Centre was prepared to take me for hundreds of pounds on a lie. Second fix with Auto Body Care, and once again an excellent job. Flexible and approachable. Highly recommended
Have been going to Auto-Bodycare over decades for both service and bodywork; always satisfied with friendly effective service at a reasonable price. Recently had a minor accident in old Fiesta needing repairs/respray to front bumper, lights, etc. which Brian sorted quickly and well. Very pleased, thanks, Brian.
