The car was stopped at the stop sign, so I thought it was safe to cross. He hit me so hard that I was thrown up on the hood of the car. My head hit and broke the windshield. I was the victim of a hit and run car accident. I was waiting at a stop light, on my way home, when I was rear-ended by a pickup truck travelling at a high speed. He even hit the car in front of me. Then he jumped the median and took off in the other direction. The police found the vehicle and got the out-of-state license plate information, but failed to impound the vehicle.
