If I could give this organisation no stars I would have. If you are an adult female looking for an assessment from this organisation forget it. Please look for organisations who are committed (should be stated on their website) to assessing adult women by appropriate diagnostic criteria and methods. I can't even begin to detail how appalling their administration and communication is. I should have had alarm bells then. Paid $100 for a 5min phone call with Jenny Lewis to be told information that I had already read on the website and made to feel like I was waisting her time because my daughter was high functioning/ high masking. She also questioned why I was seeking a diagnosis and whether I actually wanted to support my daughter or whether I wanted the ‘tick and flick’ of a diagnosis. Autism Canberra were so helpful with organising my appointments as quickly as possible. They were extremely professional, compassionate and understanding. I can’t thank them enough for all their assistance with undertaking several diagnoses for my brother and producing the documentation I needed for his care.
