This review is long overdue. We booked a 2 week vacation in the UK through Authentic Vacations and are so glad that we did!! Amber was our advisor, and she took my wish list and crafted a great trip that provided exactly what we were looking for. Had a wonderful tour of Ireland on one of Authentic Vacations small group tours. Our tour director, Joan, was absolutely terrific. She wove history, literature, music and local color into the entire trip, all with great good humor and kindness. She even used her personal connections to salvage an experience that would have otherwise been cancelled. We visited main attractions but also sites off the beaten path, and Joan always had excellent restaurant recommendations for meals that weren't covered in the cost of the tour. We... read more
