CLOSING NO LONGER OPERATING AT MACQUARIE CENTRE
Very disappointing experience. I went in for treatment for pigmentation and was told by the receptionist that I could not have laser because my skin is “dark.” I found that deeply offensive and discriminatory. My skin is olive, and I have had this treatment before, so to be dismissed without a proper clinical assessment was unacceptable. If there are genuine medical limitations based on skin type, that should be explained respectfully by a qualified practitioner, not casually by reception. I’ve been coming to Australian Skin Clinics for a while now and the whole team is always so friendly and welcoming, but Mimi is truly a standout. I’ve told her this before, but after doing laser for many years and visiting multiple clinics, she is definitely the best I’ve ever had. She is incredibly thorough, caring, and makes you feel so comfortable from the moment you walk in. The results I’ve had with her have been outstanding, honestly better than ever before. I couldn’t recommend Mimi or this clinic enough!
