The WORST customer service in the service department. I ordered a fuel pump per a recall back in April and am still waiting for them to confirm if they have received it or not. Meanwhile the Sunshine Coast location says it doesn’t have any problem receiving those parts. I have been trying to phone Honda Australia Newstead for months now and only get pushed through to a voicemail service and never receive any communication back. BEYOND frustrating! Go elsewhere if you can. I wouldn’t bother with this lot.
I’ve been waiting over three months for the fuel pump recall service. I couldn’t book over the phone because the call kept dropping when being transferred, so I had to visit the store in person. I gave them my registration and confirmed my phone number, but I still haven’t heard anything back. Very disappointing communication and customer service — especially for a safety recall.
Zack & Mitch welcomed me cheerfully! I must agree that they have both been extremely professional and knew exactly what they were talking about (highly knowledgeable). Honda has offered me a free of charge loan “courtesy” car twice, a stunning Honda ZR-V 2024 I serviced my 2013 Honda Civic VTi-S hatchback FK9 manual for its 70K and I’ve been amazed by the quality of service I received for the money. What a dreadful experience with Austral Honda. Booked in 2 weeks ago on their recall notice for a faulty fuel pump. Received 2 appointment confirmations and this morning when I arrived was told, "Sorry, we can't help you today. We're too busy and we've run out of parts". I wouldn't have minded if I'd been rescheduled yesterday, but I did take a day off work and drove over, wasting my valuable time. I'll never set foot in that dealership again.
