Maintenance is a joke. I don’t understand why we still have to pay for things to get fixed when we are renting. May as well own my own home.
This has been a long time coming as I lived here for just about five years. As my first place I ever had alone I found at first to be a great little community and truly had no issues until they previous owners sold to the people that now run this community. Over the course of a couple years I have seen a lot from a single trash comparator that over flows every week and during holiday it only gets worse. Austin place is a nice looking community for the most part, when they can keep maintenance to do grounds correctly. Not to mention the RUDE office staff and the serious bug/roach issue within the units. Even when you keep your home clean they still get in for some reason and pest control can’t seem to get rid of them either. They keep grass cut but there is always a lot of trash on the ground and the dog stations are always over flowing with poop so it stinks especially on hot days. Watch your step! I have had so many negative experiences since moving to Austin Place that it’s difficult to know where to begin. In order to write this review I had to give the leasing office a 10 day notice, per my lease. On the very same day that I sent them my notice, they placed a notice to vacate on my door stating they are rescinding their renewal offer and that I must move out at the end of my lease. Austin place has a variety of amenities including an excellent fitness center, a dog park, and a pool that is ideal for summer. The clubhouse features a movie room and a coffee bar, adding a nice touch to the community. Additionally, maintenance requests are usually addressed quickly.
