Austin Liquors (at least the one on Gold Star in Woo) is great! A lot of selection, excellent prices and friendly, helpful staff. This is my go-to place!
I went there with my elderly dad. The cashier was rude and unhelpful. We bought 2 boxes of beer, and instead of scanning it with the handheld scanner, he told us in a rude way to lift the heavy box and put it on the counter. I asked politely if he could use the scanner since it was heavy for us, but he refused. Very disappointing experience — especially when shopping with an older person.
