Dr. Ira Lown is a total clown who ruined my hand for life. I had a broken metacarpal and asked for the titanium plate. He said he recommended the pins vs. plate, so I went with pins. He did sloppy work, did not put the bones together properly, and it all fell apart a few weeks later, not to mention the tendons fused to the skin on the back of my hand so I can't move my fingers properly.
