It's always been a challenge for me to go to the doctor, but the appointment was set up and I went. The appointment was fine and the next step was the clinic getting me on the schedule to have two procedures scheduled. In addition, I would be informed of my out of pocket expenses based on my insurance co. coverage. It's been almost a month and I've heard nothing. I am going to go see another GI doc, if they can't follow through to schedule a patient that is in constant pain, I dare not expect more.
Deepika, the PA who works with Dr. Hafemeister, is top notch, super knowledgeable and thorough with great bedside manner. Dr. Hafemeister agreed with Deepika’s workup and also took the time to patiently answer any questions or concerns I had. Nurse Catelyn was also great and helped me comfortable. Honestly, even the woman who signed me in was amazing!
