Worked here for the last 5 months. Cancelled a weekend vacation to work all weekend because no coverage could be found after giving over a month notice dropping the shifts and was told I'd be fired if I didn't show up. Fired me the day after I worked the shifts anyway. With zero verbal or written disciplinary warnings. (Apparantly a 30 minute power nap when the clients are fine and there is another staff member in the house is a fireable offense when everyone else I've worked with there does it when you only have 6 hours to ... read more
Do yourself a "solid" and reach out to Austen-Dooley Co. to learn about training and employment. While I had other careers, none were as meaningful and fulfilling as my near 20 years at one of their group homes. Such an incredible experience!
