I had an engagement ring consultation with Shadan in Melbourne and sadly had a pretty negative experience. I have been to two other stores who were both great at explaining what to look for in a ring/diamond and how it all worked. Shadan didn't explain any information and didn't seem very interested in what we were looking for. I came away feeling quite deflated and it definitely put me off going through Austen & Blake.
I’ve honestly had such a disappointing experience here from start to finish. I first visited the store in July 2024 to look at engagement rings. The experience at the time was fine. The sales assistant helped with ring sizing, which seemed to go well, and told me she’d email all the details to my partner. Everything felt clear and straightforward. I waited 2 weeks for a resize on my engagement ring, only to get the ring back with the diamond loose, and the ring resized into the incorrect size. As such, I can't say that I trust the quality of the workmanship at all. This has really been such a let down for us, at a time that should be celebrated. I'll update this star rating once I'm happy with the response from the team and my issue has been resolved.
