Austec's fittings are patented, have no O-rings and can be used for both water and gas applications on both our Pex-B and Multilayer Pex/Al/Pex pipes. The fittings are made from DR brass and have stainless steel sleeves. These sleeves do not come loose from the fitting and do not get deformed if dropped.
