Worst builder I have ever used. Don't waste your time and money with them.
I have just completed my second investment property build with Aushomes. My first was in the middle of Covid 19 and ok we experienced a few small delays, but they honored my contract price and the build was completed in a timely manner. I cant fault this company in any way, from Josh and Brett in management to the ladies in construction admin, the communication has always been great, I have found the quality of workmanship and the trades above average. unprofessional, bewareTerrible communication, very little follow up. Lots of errors, unorganized and constant delays from no shows. The delays and mistakes have cost me tens of thousands of dollars extra. A very disappointing experience.
My wife and I built a house and auxiliary unit with Aushomes on our property just south of Brisbane. The block is an irregular shape but Debbie (sales agent) and the design team helped create a custom design to suit our land. They worked with us to provide a custom build that still fit within our budget. Definitely would recommend.
I had a similar experience to John with Aushomes. The build started approximately February-March 2021 and ‘completed’ December 2022. The main reason for this review is because of your staff member Josh. Both duplexes have numerous issues that were raised with Aushomes and to this date there has only been 1 electrical contractor that has come out to perform a repair on a light switch. 0 issues listed in the building inspection report have been fixed.
