If I can deter one person from choosing Ausbuild then I will be happy. Here’s a snippet of our horrible experience. * We met salesman Brett Hopkinson in May 2024 and told our home would be completed in 6 months - it took over a year & a half. * Before construction started, we were told by Brett to have a retaining wall built using a contractor recommended by him. If I could give Ausbuild zero stars, I would. Building with Ausbuild has been one of the most stressful and disappointing experiences we’ve ever had. Instead of enjoying our brand-new home, we’ve spent our first year dealing with defects, disputes and constantly chasing Ausbuild to take responsibility. To make matters worse, our home wasn’t even complete at practical completion. Probably this the first time i am rating some with 1 star. After a lot of frustration and no response i decided to write here. I booked home and land package on 2024 oct . I was told land will be registered around june, july and house will be ready in 6 to 7 months (max time) . We signed the contract. Land got registered on August 2025 and its already been more than 11 months but no sign of completion, even tho its a small single storey house and construction doesn’t include landscaping , driveway , alfresco and blinds.
