I have been treated for illnesses at this location in the past and had good experiences. Brenda the NP was not good this time around. I was not treated for an upper respiratory infection that was causing an asthma exacerbation. I went to another urgent care and was diagnosed right away with a URI with asthma exacerbation and treated.
I brought my 5 year into the walk in and the doctor was not friendly. I tried putting a mask on my son right before we entered the building. I couldn't get him to wear it. When the doctor came in , instead of asking us to put on a mask, Dr . Malinis began putting one on my son. My son then started freaking out. The doctor didn’t do anything with ease. Scheduled the Urgent care appointment on line so I wouldn’t have to sit and wait at the clinic and when I arrived I was told there is a 75 minute wait by the receptionist. When I ask what was the point of signing up ahead of time she rolled her eyes at me and stated there was an emergency that came in. Then I asked why couldn't a text be sent out stating that there is an extra wait time so I could stay at home and wait and she then proceeded to roll her eyes again and say the emergency just came in.
