Irene Valerio, MD is the most unprofessional doctor I have ever had the displeasure working with. She almost seems annoyed to have to talk to you about what's going on and what needs to happen for you to return to work. Also the fact that I was sent to this doctor with apparently had no prior knowledge in dealing with diabetes related work incidents and she proceeded to not reach out to a licensed endocrinologist speaks volumes on the level of incompetence she has as a "medical professional"

Please avoid DOCTOR. IRENE VALERIO. She treated me disgustingly, as if I was lying and as if she is a know it all . SHE EVEN DISCREDITED one of her own co workers by saying they are not a doctor they are a PA . Sad, she even threw her chair at the wall and grabbed the supervisor to stay in the room while she checks me because she was annoyed by me not being able to stand up straight because of the pain I was feeling .
