Was told to be here NO later than 12:30 for a pre op. Surgery is scheduled for 1:30. Now 1 hour late and I am writing this from a chair in front of the surgery center. (No help at all). I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. It’s funny how if you are one minute late, they say you’re late and they can’t help you. Might even charge you. Aurora is a slimey place to get medical care. If you do not use their LiveWell app it's very likely you won't even know you have an outstanding bill because they automatically sign u up for paperless statements without your knowledge. I had a $3,000 bill and had no idea cause they never sent me a statement. I believe this to be intentional so they can charge you fees. Do not get healthcare done with Aurora; period.
If I could give them a zero i would. I came in with my 14 year old son who was experiencing severe abdominal pain, vomiting, and light headed. When we were walking through the ER doors my son collapsed to the ground and was throwing up. 2 security people had to come out to help me lift him up into a wheel chair. The ER staff saw my son fall and vomit. They also knew he was having severe abdominal pain. I have been a frequent visitor here while my mother went through medical treatments. The facility is clean and organized and the staff is both kind and extremely professional.
Dr. Kohli is top notch! After a year of dragging my bad knee around and a terrible experience with one Doctor, Dr. Kohli gave me my life back chasing after my 2 toddlers. While seeking a 2nd opinion I found Dr. Kohli and I feel truly blessed to have received care from someone as dedicated and compassionate as he is. His impact will always be remembered with gratitude.
