Still one of the most arrogant doctors I have ever known. After 15 years since our last encounter. You would think doctors that should learn to communicate therapeutically would do so. Dr Carlson does not listen. He likes to educate (which is great) but has never been very good and empathetic listening, or active listening.
After seeing this provider, for my children at urgent care, 4 times in the last 3 years, I can certainly say he has no bedside manner and is incredibly rude. He spends less than a minute in the room. He talks down to patients and shames you for coming in. Overall, each time was a terrible experience and by looking at these reviews, I can tell we aren’t the only ones.
Doesnt even deserve 1 star - rude, condescending, no bedside manner. Brought my son in for severe abdominal pain; MD came in with his arms crossed talking down to me for asking questions and tried to get up and leave after every sentence. DO NOT recommend. He should not be in urgent care - no compassion and no consideration. Aurora, why is he still working here? He has bad reviews going back years...
Brought our son in for severe cold symptoms that persisted for a week. Ended up testing positive for RSV. He was PHENOMENAL. Best doctor I’ve met. Urgent care was so busy, but he took the time to explain what to look for. Gave great medical advice but then also gave us advice on what worked with his kids as well.
