Had to visit while visiting from out of town. The wait was extremely short. Facilities were clean. The nurses and doctor were nice and informative and helped during a very scary episode for our daughter. Only thing that we wish would have been different, was that the woman that came in to collect insurance and other information, had a very heavy smell of smoke and perfume. Definitely could have done without that. Would use again if needed when we are in the area in the future.
After a few days of being miserable with what I thought was my gallbladder acting up, my dogs started acting funny around me and wouldn't leave my side. They were telling me something so I reluctantly decided to go to the ER. Good thing I listened to them as the wonderful people at Bay Area told me I had elevated levels of troponin in my blood from a cardiac event. As scared as I was the staff and nurses put me at ease. Amazing with my 2 year old cut his thumb got 5 Stitches and tons of hot wheels!!
I’ve had plenty of bad experiences at this place but the worst was when I was in a car accident and hurt my back very badly. I was brought in by ambulance and I couldn’t walk or even sit up. The charge nurse forced me to get up, literally pulled me up by my arms trying to make me sit up as I was screaming and crying for her to stop, the pain was unbearable. Called late in the night after my daughter spent a night there. I was going to ask a question about her medication but the minute I asked a question when they answered I was told "I don't care" and was hung up on. This hospital is ridiculous.
