Been one of the worst experiences I have had at a doctors office. Repeatedly. No never notified me that the practice was closing. I had to find out from my coworker. Extremely disappointed in almost every single interaction I’ve had here. Would not recommend. I rarely even put reviews (good or bad), but since this appears to be the only way I can have my voice heard, here we are.
I want to start with I’m NOT a patient here. I work in healthcare (medical laboratory technologist) and have a good idea how things should flow. I went to this office once and the follow through from that appointment along with return calls, etc didn’t happen so I got the feeling the office as a whole was incompetent and never returned. I have been Dawn's patient since I moved to the area in 2022. I am not exaggerating when I write that Dawn has literally saved my life. I have asthma. I have to use inhalers twice a day for maintenance. A couple of years ago, there was terrible flooding in the area, and many places lost power. Dawn's office building was damaged. At the same time, the manufacturer of my medication discontinued my inhaler, and my pharmacy ran out. Aurora healthcare is the absolute worst Dr office I've ever been to. I was born with a hip a spine disease. I went in to the office in horrible pain only to wait. Then when I was called in Dawn the supposedly Dr was standing on the hallway with her arms crossed and foot on the wall behind her. After I got into the exam room her assistant was a big mouth and told you how you feel and this is what your problem is and on and on. I wish they had negative stars for this. My provider Ms Dawn was the most unprofessional, un helpful provider ive ever been to in my life. She treats you like a criminal if your on or need any controled substance. Im a straight and narrow person but it doesn't matter. She has the worst attitude and is the most disrespectful, unhelpful doctor ive evee seen before, and thats alot coming from someone who's lived in multiple states having multiple doctors.
