I started going to Aurora in 2020, right after my divorce and the COVID pandemic started. I saw one therapist for 15 months and then when she left the practice got changed to another for 4 months. When she went to leave the practice I was told I would be contacted by someone to attempt to continue service. I was previously seeing Jeannie. During the pandemic, she told me my insurance was not charging a co pay and it was free for the Telehealth visits. Ok, great. Jeannie left and I was being seen with Bria through Telehealth. February 3 I received an emailed statement for $250!! I inquired about the large bill and they told me Bria was supposed to be charging me a copay at the end of each session and she failed to do so.
