Been going to this salon for years now, at least since 2019, I think that says it - I love the salon and the stylists!!! I’ve been through some different colour changes and styles, and each time it turns out exactly how I pictured it. It’s very difficult to find a really good hairstylist these days, Aurora is Northampton’s hidden gem! Would 100% recommend!
I feel really sorry to say this however... The atmosphere in the hairdressers was awful and stale when I arrived. Nobody really talking much. I was thinking to myself why this is. Now I know. The hairdressers in Aurora do not really talk to you much at all, they just do the job. I did not find their attitude very friendly. I asked a basic question to one doing my hair, Melissa, she flung her hands up and said she doesn't know the answer to my question, she said this with an overly emotional tone and like she was exasperated.... read more
I had a lovely experience with Julie on Saturday! I booked in for a cut and balayage and left feeling so, so happy with the results. Julie took the time to listen to what I was after and provided lots of helpful advice on keeping my colour fresh and bright. Everyone in the salon was super friendly! Great experience overall! I’ve already booked in for my next few appointments.
First time going to this hairdressers, nervous as i hadn’t gotten a haircut in a while.. left with completely new hair! feeling so fresh and healthy :) the staff were lovely and friendly, and the place was aesthetically pleasing to sit in. the lady who did my hair did an amazing job and i’m very happy
Had my haircut by Vee, she is consistently great at what she does and very friendly. Cannot have asked for a more attentive hair dresser, highly recommend
