Best hospital experience of our lives! I’m actually shocked the reviews aren’t great because that just was not our personal experience. My husband and I were passing through the area and my husband had an emergency. We stopped randomly at this hospital and they were the kindest, most caring staff I’ve ever met. My visit to the Aurora emergency room was incredibly smooth and reassuring from start to finish. The nurses were kind, patient, and genuinely understanding, making me feel comfortable and respected throughout the process. It was a relatively short visit, and I really appreciated how carefully they listened to everything I had to say. Went there several hours after getting a stent removed (was in horrible pain) somewhere else and they were so incredibly helpful and took great care of me
I went in to Burlington Emergency the other day severely ill and everybody was great except for the "nurse" (older lady with short hair) proceeded to be quite rude about just getting me some water because I was very thirsty from a long 5-6 of vomiting. Not to mention after the second time I asked she told me she refused to get me anymore water. Like I said, everybody except for her was very nice and respectful. While waiting in a room in the ER, I heard staff sharing their low opinion of my place of employment. As everyone does have a right to an opinion, my concern is the lowest level of professionalism that they displayed. If they discuss businesses in this manner where patients seeking medical attention can clearly hear them, how much faith should I have that they follow HIPPA laws.
