My radiation team, my Doctor and my nurses were the best. Having my first cancer treatments and nothing to compare my care team to, I can only speak about this experience. My team was great. Everyone made all 28 visits a very pleasant experience. I got to know my team and when I got to ring the bell, they were all there supporting me. Thank you to all my radiation care team. You are truly professionals.
I went here for a second opinion when I had breast cancer. Based on family and personal history, I did not want a lumpectomy, but they kept trying to push me toward that procedure. The whole experience gave me the sense that they felt I was over-reacting. Finding out that I had cancer was scary, but they did a great job of taking care of me. Everyone is kind and wonderful. I’m so grateful for their support. I’m happy to say that I am now cancer-free.
both the doctor and the nurse were great. The problem is the fact that with no prior explanation, I received a call to schedule an appointment with "Oncology" when in reality, the appointment was with a hematologist. When a patient receives a call like that, they assume they have cancer when that was not the case. This definitely causes undue stress.
