Never have I been so ignored. Took forever for anyone to discharge me. I had to unhook everything myself amd open the door and yell to get someone's attention.
I am changing over from bellin to aurora!!! If you want people who listen to you and give you what you need having you feel confident that you can walk home and deal, then this place is for you!!! I went into bellin urgent care at 5pm after 3 hours of shaking racing heart rate sweating red skin blood shit eyes and chest pain. Sliced my finger open on a broken cup while doing dishes and my neighbor brought me here. They said I needed stitches and put topical lidocaine on it to numb it. They waited so long that by the time it was time to put in stitches, it was starting to wear off. I expressed concern about this and they said it would be fine. I warned them I was afraid of needles and they said it would be fine. They stuck the needle in and I screamed because it hurt so bad, then had a panic attack because I’m afraid of needles. My first time attending the emergancy room at this location and based if the amazing all around care I recieved, the kindness, respect, and zero gaslighting, I am looking further into checking into their connecting clinic as well. I was taken so well care of and treated so kindly, I give this ER and its staff a definite 10 out of 10. They addressed all my issues and listened to me fully, and I couldn't be more grateful & I truly mean that.
