Well pretty disappointing. I have used Aurora Animal clinic for many many years. Ever dog we have had went there for the past 45 years. When you fly with a pet you need a health certification and it has to be with in 10 days of flying. I am leaving town on the 26th next Monday Night. Called they today. The don’t have any appts until November. I said really!!! She said yep. I said so I need to have all my records transfer to another vet? I was told ya. Wow!!! I can’t say enough good about Dr. Cole and Aurora, They did emergency surgery on my pup last night and were great with the whole experience.

My boyfriend took my dog to get her nails done. If I don’t do them I usually take her here. They told him that they wouldn’t do it and that my dog needed to take anxiety meds and said that she got aggressive. Abby is not aggressive. She is big and doesn’t like getting her nails cut. If they can’t deal with one big dog and cutting her nails, then I don’t know what they can do. Then to lie about her being aggressive was the icing on the cake. That’s a serious allegation and one I don’t take lightly. I got a copy of my dog’s re... read more

I met them when I moved back to Alaska in 2017. they treated my Roo Bear's congestive heart failure all of 2018 and euthanized my almost 17 year old Annie.baby and then less than 2 weeks later Roo.bear went into full kidney failure and they gave me options and allowed me to make the call to euthanize since his heart condition was so advanced. Now I take my 2 multi.rehomed babies there. people keep telling me there are cheaper vets but these people provide services for rescues so they can get healthy and find forever homes an... read more

We just had a video visit with dr. Cole and I so appreciate the option during this crazy time. Our pups issue was not urgent but I greatly appreciated being able to talk to dr. Cole - and I know it is after usual business hours. We were able to discuss the issue and get a plan in place to help him feel better!

Won’t be back- brought Travis in for ear surgery. Doc put a sharp piece of plastic over the ear to keep it flat. Ended up cutting into his ear over two weeks. They didn’t do anything to fix it, blamed me for not checking the bandage (post op directions said nothing about opening up/ checking the bandages) and then they ended up charging me for the antibiotics he needs because of their screw up.

Every time I have a visit it has been a welcoming experience. Even the ones where the worst outcome was evident. Most of us have visited all the the veterinarians in the area an my experiences will always take me back to Aurora.

I've been taking my dogs here for over 30 years. I won't take them anywhere else. They're the best as far as I'm concerned.
