I want to share about a restaurant in Sausalito where I’ve already become a regular. It’s such a wonderful place — located right on Main Street, just the very first exit after crossing the Golden Gate Bridge (Alexander Exit). The area is quiet, close to the waterfront, but without tourists, crowds, or lines. The food is authentic homemade Italian, with traditional recipes. We tried the pizza — both prosciutto and seafood. GPS took us through a tour of residential Italy with very narrow streets before arriving at the restaurant. parking was difficult only to realize the restaurant has its own parking around the corner and under the restaurant. waiter decided to clean all the dirty tables before taking our order; customer service suggest the opposite should happen. we watched him at least 5 minutes as he cleaned.
