Auntie Belham came to our rescue, after booking with another rental company (similar name) their cabin was nasty and that is being nice. We called Auntie Belhwm, they were able to get us in a dog friendly cabin at the last minute. Bear Hugs was great for our needs. Clean, cozy and a we enjoyed 5 wonderful days in the mountains with our dog. We will definitely book with them again.
I wouldn't call it "nice"... DEFINITELY not worth the ~$1.5k/night price. Just stayed there for a family reunion. It's about 8 beds and 9 baths. It's about 10 min East of Gatlinburg in a non-walkable area that didn't have (T-mobile) cell reception. The wifi in the cabin was fast when nobody was on it, but the speed dropped QUICKLY when multiple people were connected to the point where it was totally unusable for anything but checking email (<1mbps). Just Amazing. When we made our reservation we asked for a Cabin where we might see Bears. With in 45 minutes we had a bear come right to the front door of the cabin. Unfortunately I had to dial the emergency number because of a smoke alarm going off at 430 am and Maintance was on sight with in 45 minutes problem solved. I will rent again.Thank you for the memories...
The cabin and location were absolutely beautiful! The wildlife is also beautiful. The only issue we had was the TV's downstairs didn't work and the one on the main floor ended up malfunctioning also.
